Goa

Goa is a state in western India with coastlines extending alongside the Arabian sea; sharing its borders with Arabian sea to the west, Maharashtra to the North, and Karnataka to the south and the east. Goa is the smallest state of the country according to the area with 3,702, sq.km.
Goa is also known as the "Pearl of the Orient". Due to its natural scenery,unique beaches and cultural diversity, it is popularly called as tourists paradise. Wherein a day it's sun, sea and surf, which offers leisure time, one can indulge themselves into water sports activities, evening offers serene sunset view from the beach and night it's fun, fish and feni(local drink).
Goa is world famous for its beach life, containing 35 beaches. From North to South of Goa after every five minutes of drive you will find a new beach(unique in various ways). Beaches in South Goa are very calm, serene and great for relaxing. Whereas Popular North Goan beaches like Calangute,Baga, Dona Paula, Miramar etc you will see horde of tourists enjoying water sports like jet skiing, boating, parasailing, or sunbathing.
The beaches are the key attraction of Goa. Also it's a home to number of casinos, the tourists consider it to be the gamers paradise due to its ambience. Goa has 15 casinos some are located offshore and some are situated in ships on the Mandovi river, and it is the only state where live gambling is legal. Deltin Royale Casino is the most loved casino in Goa that offers VIP gaming suites and gourmet cuisines. Anjuna Flea Market (every Wednesday) you can can purchase anything and everything from local produce to foreigner stores, Indian (Rajasthani stuff), to hats made from coconut leaf.
Arambol Beach Market offers you quirky stuff & leather stuff for shopping.
Goa also has some old furniture stores like Casa Goa, and Saudades antique furniture stores. Literate Book shop and cafe which is located in 100year old house where you can browse, read and pick your book.
Cidade de Goa where you can enjoy Dolphin watching, snorkeling, and fishing then you can eat the fish which you caught.
You can also enjoy Viva Carnival in the month of February every year which absolutely free. Carnival was introduced by Portuguese and Goa is the only place in Asia to celebrate Carnival. It is celebrated before Lent, which is meant for fasting and penance among the Catholics, 40 days ahead of Easter Celebrations.
Your Goa tour is incomplete without mouthwatering seafood; such as Xitti Kodi(Fish Thali) where you can enjoy multiple dishes in one platter.
'Shark Ambot Tik' it's a Portuguese influenced food;Ambot Tik(Sour & Spicy). Goan Pork Vindaloo (vin comes from the word vinegar and ahlo means garlic in Portuguese. Sorpotel (red meat curry, tangy and spicy in taste), Chicken Cafreal, Fish Re Cheado( mackreal are goan seafood crispy pan-fried with local spice stuffed), Bebinca (famous loved desert of Goa which is also served in all happy occassions including catholic weddings), with street foods like Ros Omlate(egg omlate is served with chicken gravy with local bread of Goa) etc.
